Oxfam GB shares Schools for Future Youth at the National Multiplier Event in the UK!

What I remember most about the day is the sharing of ideas, being reminded of the importance of global citizenship education and the impact SF Youth has had on the young people involved. The structure of the day allowed for different perspectives from educators sharing their thoughts, young people explaining how they engaged with the SF Youth project, panel discussions and people in the room sharing their take on the day. Those are the individual elements that stand out.

SFYouth final project meeting

The last meeting of partners of Schools For The Future Youth project took place at the beginning of May. We met in Oxfam headquarters, in the center of London, beautiful at this time of the year. We spent two days summarizing and evaluating our common project and another two days on participating in the conference “RESEARCH, EVIDENCE AND POLICY LEARNING FOR GLOBAL EDUCATION”, organized in Institute of Education, University College London by the Development Education Research Centre within UCL-IOE and Global Education Network Europe (GENE).

Teachers and students in favor of Global Education and Sustainable Development

More than 80 teachers and 80 students, policy makers from the Ministry of Education and Culture and representatives from non-governmental organizations gathered in the University of Nicosia on Thursday, April 6, 2017, to assert their determination for the involvement of the state and school in shaping active and conscious global citizens during a conference held by the non-governmental educational centre CARDET. The conference “State and School promote Global Education: Challenges and Good Practices" was organised in the frame of the SFYouth project (www.sfyouth.eu), funded by Erasmus+.
