Schools for Future Youth (SFYOUTH) is for schools who want to deliver a more exciting, relevant and inspiring education, and help create a generation of more active and globally engaged young people.
Schools for Future Youth supports schools across Europe to use global citizenship education to help improve learning both in and out of the classroom. You can download resources and lesson plans to encourage discussion and action on global issues such as Climate Change or Inequality. You can also log on to the Youth Wall designed to help young people share learning in a safe online space with other young people around the world. All of this is available online, for free, and through the Schools for Future Youth App. Register here to access downloadable versions of the resources and to log onto the Youth Wall.
We invite you to get involved!
For teachers... look at the global citizenship education handbook, try some activities with young people and ask an expert.
For young people... learn about global issues through quizzes and workshop activities, think about setting up a Youth Ambassador Group in your school and network and connect with other young people across Europe on the Youth Wall.
For policy makers... take a look at the reports and policy recommendations on the educational benefits of global citizenship and youth participation.
Schools for Future Youth aims to inspire teachers and young people to contribute to the shaping of a fairer and more socially just world.
